When considering yachting vacations there are few areas better to explore than the Mediterranean. The section of the Atlantic Ocean known as the Mediterranean basin, bordered by Africa, Europe and Asia, was an important trade route for the ancient Greek, Roman and Egyptian sailors. The best time to visit the Mediterranean is in summer, when the climate is hot and dry, as the area is known for its wet winters. While temperatures do vary depending on where one is visiting, it?s safe to assume that one can expect hot to humid weather (especially in locations like Greece), that make for perfect seaside conditions.
Locations

These islands are also known for their natural beauty and historical sites. On the other end of the Mediterranean you can find Turkey, a place known for its history, vibrant culture and uniquely excellent cuisine.
